What is LEVEL UP?
LEVEL UP is a free rewards program for logged in members, which enables you to earn reward tokens through your qualified transactions and engagement with PLAE. These actions for example include making a shoe purchase or sharing a product on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. Your tokens can then be spent during a future purchase.
How do I join?
Simply and you will automatically be included in LEVEL UP. It is that easy!
How do I earn tokens?
There are many ways to earn tokens. Simply signing up for an account or sharing on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest will earn you tokens. You also earn tokens when you make a purchase or when you refer a friend. Please see the Terms and Conditions for more information about tokens.
How do I spend tokens?
Tokens can be spent when you make a purchase on goplae.com by clicking the “Spend Tokens” button on the cart or check out page. Available tokens, tokens you will spend and tokens you will earn are listed on both the cart page and the check out page.
How do I know how many tokens I have earned?
Token balance can be viewed at any time by logging in to view your account and clicking LEVEL UP Rewards on the left side menu. Here you will find a list of all tokens earned, each qualifying event along with the date and the status.
What are tokens worth?
Spend 100 tokens for each $1.00 off when making a purchase on goplae.com.
Is there a max on the number if tokens I can spend or earn?
There is no limit to the total number of tokens you can earn. Each customer can earn tokens from all social engagements up to 10 times per calendar year.
Do tokens expire?
Tokens expire 1 year from the most recent Token-earning activity. As long as you engage in some kind of activity that earns new Tokens within 365 days of the previous Token-earning activity, your Tokens will still be active.
What happens to my tokens if I return an item?
Tokens earned as a part of a transaction will be deducted from your token balance. Tokens spent during a transaction that is later returned will be refunded at the same time that any monetary refund is made, generally within 10 days of a return being received.
How do I refer a friend?
Sharing "Your Referral URL” is the easiest way for friends to join LEVEL UP. This URL is available by logging in to view your account and clicking Referrals on the left side menu. From here you will also find “Your Referral Code”, anyone that enters this during registration will also count as your referral. You can also email your friends directly from this page my adding their email address and we will send them an invitation.
Can I send or share tokens with another account?
Tokens are not transferrable and cannot be transferred to or combined from another account.
When will I receive my tokens?
Tokens are awarded for qualifying events, some are available instantly like account sign up or social sharing, others require a token earning order to ship, while others like referral rewards require admin review and approval which can take up to 10 days. Token balance and status can be viewed at any time by logging in to view your account and clicking LEVEL UP Rewards on the left side menu.
LEVEL UP - Terms and Conditions
PLAE offers you a loyalty rewards program called LEVEL UP (“LEVEL UP”) through this website. LEVEL UP enables you to earn rewards (“Tokens”) through your qualified transactions and engagement with PLAE, such as, for instance, purchasing PLAE merchandise online at www.goplae.com, referring friends to make a purchase on the website, or raising awareness regarding PLAE on social media. The specific ways in which you may earn Tokens are described in more detail below under the heading “LEVEL UP Tokens”. After accruing any amount of Tokens, such Tokens may be redeemed for certain rewards, such as discounts off PLAE purchases.
LEVEL UP is subject to the following LEVEL UP terms and conditions (“terms”). We reserve the right to add, edit, or modify these terms at any time. This may include changing the activities and actions eligible for Tokens, the number of Tokens earned for these activities and actions. In addition, we may change the number of Tokens required to redeem, the expiration date of Tokens or the value of each Token.
how to enroll
LEVEL UP is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. You are automatically enrolled in LEVEL UP when an account is created with us, or when you make a purchase. You agree to provide and maintain true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the account registration form, including a legitimate email address in order for your purchases to be eligible to receive Tokens. If you do not use a legitimate email address that you have personal access to and control over, you forfeit any Tokens issued to that account. Only one account per individual/customer is permitted. Any attempt to create multiple accounts to build up Tokens will be deemed an abuse of LEVEL UP. We reserve the right to modify, remove, delete or change Tokens in any account that were done in error, whether human or computer error.
Use of LEVEL UP is limited to residents of the United States. Residents outside of the United States are not authorized to use LEVEL UP. Employees of PLAE are not eligible to participate in LEVEL UP.
LEVEL UP tokens
There is no limit to the total number of Tokens you can earn. You must be logged into your LEVEL UP account to earn Tokens. Token earning activities and their respective earning value include the following:
- 5 Tokens for every $1 spent on a qualifying purchase
- 100 Tokens for LEVEL UP account creation
- 10 Tokens for a share on Twitter
- 10 Tokens for a share on your Facebook profile via social sharing button
- 10 Tokens for a share on your Google+ profile via social sharing button
- 10 Tokens for a share on your Pinterest via social sharing button
- 10 Tokens for following @goplae on your Twitter using provided sharing button
- 10 Tokens for a like on your Facebook using provided sharing button
- 500 Tokens when your referral Makes their first purchase
- Referral receives 500 Tokens when they register a new account
Spend 1 Token for each $0.01 discount. During the order checkout process, Tokens can be spent by clicking the “Spend Tokens” button on either the shopping cart review page or the checkout page. The button will apply all available Tokens to the purchase.
Blackout dates for Token spending may apply. Tokens may still be earned for purchases made during blackout dates.
Tokens have no cash value. Tokens can only be redeemed for merchandise and are not redeemable for cash. Tokens are not transferrable. Tokens will be available in your account following confirmation of a completed qualifying activity. Your Tokens balance will appear within your account when you are logged in. You can go online and view your Token balance at any time. Each customer can earn Tokens from all social engagements up to 10 times per calendar year.
If a qualifying purchase is returned for a refund, the number of Tokens earned for the returned item(s) will be deducted from your LEVEL UP account. There may be a delay in posting Tokens to your account. If you feel there is a discrepancy in your account, notify us within 45 days following the Token earning event date for which you believe Tokens should have been received. We may require documentation to support any discrepancy claim.
Tokens will not be awarded retroactively or for earning activities outside those defined within these terms. Token earning activities that are eligible for reward Tokens, but are not done when signed in to your account will not be retroactively applied. No Tokens will be earned for non-qualifying purchases and actions. Gift voucher purchases do not qualify to earn Tokens. Purchases made using a gift voucher as a form of payment will earn Tokens.
Certain products may be ineligible for Token redemption. Tokens cannot be redeemed to pay for any shipping expense or sales tax associated with the redemption of Tokens. You are responsible for paying sales tax and any associated shipping expense related to the redemption of Tokens.
Tokens expire 1 year from the most recent Token-earning activity. As long as you engage in some kind of activity that earns new Tokens within 365 days of the previous Token-earning activity, your Tokens will still be active. No extensions, cash refunds, or other exchanges will be allowed for expired or canceled Tokens.
LEVEL UP users can earn Tokens by referring friends to the LEVEL UP rewards program if (i) a referred friend clicks on their referral link to create a valid LEVEL UP account that complies with our Terms of Service; and (ii) the referred friend completes a qualifying purchase as a logged on user. Referral Tokens are awarded when the referred friend’s purchase ships and the transaction is completed and upon admin approval within 10 days.
Referred friends will also earn Tokens upon completion of their LEVEL UP rewards account registration, which can be used for their first, or a future purchase. Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations. Referral links should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal friends (such as coupon websites, blogs, Reddit, or Wikipedia).
A referred friend may only use one referral link. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple LEVEL UP users, only the corresponding LEVEL UP user of the referral link used by the referred friend will receive Tokens.
User Content and Feedback
With respect to the content or other materials you upload through LEVEL UP (collectively, “User Content”), you represent and warrant that you own all right, title and interest in and to such User Content, including, without limitation, all copyrights and rights of publicity contained therein. By uploading any User Content, you hereby grant and will grant PLAE and its affiliated companies a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid up, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual, irrevocable license to copy, display, upload, perform, distribute, store, modify and otherwise use your User Content in connection with the operation of LEVEL UP, or the promotion, advertising or marketing thereof, in any form, medium or technology now known or later developed.
You acknowledge and agree that any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback or other information about LEVEL UP (“Submissions”), provided by you to PLAE are non-confidential and PLAE will be entitled to the unrestricted use and dissemination of these Submissions for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, without acknowledgment or compensation to you.
Third Party Services
LEVEL UP may provide links or other access to other sites, resources and services, or may offer an opportunity to earn Tokens by accessing and using a third party service or mobile application, or may offer a Reward that involves a third party product or service. Such third party sites, resources, services, applications, social media and social networking services, products or services are collectively referred to as “Third Party Services”. PLAE has no control over such Third Party Services, and PLAE is not responsible for and does not endorse such Third Party Services. You further acknowledge and agree that PLAE will not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on Third Party Services. In addition, PLAE is not responsible for the accuracy, availability or reliability of any information, content, goods, data, opinions, advice or statements made available in connection with Third Party Services. Any dealings you have with third parties found while using LEVEL UP are between you and the third party, and you agree that PLAE is not liable for any loss or claim that you may have against any such third party.
You agree not to abuse LEVEL UP and any social media platforms connected to LEVEL UP by conduct which is detrimental to the interests of PLAE, including without limitation, attempting to accrue Tokens or spend Tokens in a manner inconsistent with these terms or the intent of these terms, attempting to earn Tokens through illegitimate channels, participating in redemption fraud, or tampering with LEVEL UP or its tools.
Qualified activity completions or registrations or Tokens generated by script, macro or other automated means will be void. Our decisions with respect to the number of Tokens accumulated are final and binding.
You agree that PLAE, in its sole discretion, may suspend or terminate your account (or any part thereof) or use of LEVEL UP for lack of use or if PLAE believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these terms. Any suspected fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity that may be grounds for termination of your use of LEVEL UP may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities. You agree that any termination of your access to LEVEL UP under any provision of these terms may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that PLAE may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all related information in your account and/or bar any further access to LEVEL UP (including any unused Tokens or claimed but unused rewards). Further, PLAE may terminate or suspend LEVEL UP at any time. You agree that PLAE will not be liable to you or any third party for any termination of your access to your account or any termination or suspension of LEVEL UP. You may terminate your participation in LEVEL UP at any time by emailing email@example.com.
